Dallas Crawford Commits

Dallas Crawford has committed. This is huge as it will definitely help with our lack of DB depth. Can't wait to see what this kid can do, he will probably have a great shot to play early.

From InsideTheU: "Crawford, a previous Michigan commit, took an official visit to Miami this weekend and enjoyed his time. "I decided to commit because of that weekend," Crawford said. "I just got to build a great relationship with the coaches and players, see the campus, it really felt like home. The whole time it felt like home." Crawford had originally planned on waiting until signing day to announce his decision, but felt that now was the best time.  "I had the feeling now," he said. "I didn't want to string anyone along. I know in my heart that's where I want to be."

Crawford's goal for his freshman season:

"Just play and contribute in any way I can to help Miami get back to where it used to be."

Crawford, the 12th-ranked cornerback in the country, is coming off a monster senior season in which he intercepted nine passes and had 76 tackles. As the team's quarterback, he accounted for over 2,800 yards and 40 touchdowns."
