The Sun Sentinel is reporting that Ryan Williams is transferring from Memphis to the U. He will have to sit out a year. While he was only a two star coming out of Miramar, the dude obviously wants to be a Cane. His presence should also add some much-needed depth at the QB position in 2012. Competing for the starting job will be Williams, Tate Forcier, Stephen Morris, and Gray Crow (assuming he sticks to his commitment). As a side note, Williams beat out former-Cane Cannon Smith for the starting position. Again, I do not expect him to make much of a splash, but he will bring added depth and competition to the QB spot.
