This is the last recruiting all-star game of the weekend, and it also happens to be potentially big for Miami. While the Canes have had a whole lot of recruiting targets participate so far, this is the only game that features an announcement that likely will go Miami's way.
Alquadin Muhammad, a consensus 4 star defensive end that had previously been heavily linked to Notre Dame, is predicted to choose Coral Gables as his landing spot.
The Canes also have other targets that are set to play, including RB Derrick Green and DT Keith Bryant.

I spent a good deal of time watching the Under Armour All America practices yesterday, particularly the Quarterbacks and came away with the few thoughts on them. For obvious reasons I’ll focus on Kevin Olsen but I’ll also try to hone in on how he compares to the two other Quarterbacks playing with him this weekend, Brice Ramsey and Shane Morris.

Once again, Bud Elliot is dropping knowledge from the UA game practice from today. This time around, he concentrated his efforts on the wide receivers, of which two are Miami targets. Stacy Coley and Jordan Cunningham are both on Miami's radar at varying levels.
Here' what Bud saw from Coley on day one:
Stacy Coley: Coley is arguably the top receiver in Florida. For some reason, he did not wear football pants on day one, instead opting for shorts. He dropped at least one catchable pass and did not play like I've seen him do on numerous other occasions, but he wasn't bad.
Coley is thought to basically be between FSU and Miami for his services next year. A while back there was talk that he was ready to commit to UM, but then wavered a bit more. FSU recently offered a friend of his, which seems to be their forte as of late, so this is back up in the air. Miami won't give up on him though.
Outside of Coley, there is Jordan Cunningham:
Jordan Cunningham injured his knee, but the injury is not thought to be one that will keep him out of Friday's game. Stanford is thought to be Cunningham's leader, but this one seems far from over.
Cunningham is still on Miami's radar, but most see him as a backup plan if Coley slips away. Stanford is the leader here, but there's word out there that if Miami were to officially offer him, he would likely commit to the Canes. If this is the case, you could see why they are hesitant to do so with Coley on the board and a smaller class.

Our own Bud Elliot is at the Under Armour practices and game this week, and is providing some excellent coverage of the festivities. The first practice was today, and Bud gathered his thoughts on the defensive end position. This is of interest to Canes fans particularly because of recruiting target Tim Williams.
Here's what Bud thought after day 1:
Tim Williams: When a prospect that plays on LSU's campus (literally, at the LSU magnet school) is supposedly an elite player, at a position of need for the Tigers, but doesn't hold an offer, something is up. And indeed that is the case with Williams. Williams is a good player, but his long-term potential, at least as a true defensive end, seems limited by his narrow frame. And he doesn't have the crazy quickness to compensate for his lack of size in order to justify the extremely high rating given to him by some recruiting websites.
While not good news, that certainly doesn't mean that Williams won't find a home at the next level. It also doesn't mean that he won't stand out the rest of the week. Of course, it could very well mean that he may turn out to be a miss compared to his lofty ranking across the big sites.
So does Miami still have a shot at Williams? According to a tweet by InsideTheU (paid), they just might:
