Miami - Kansas State Post Game Hangover Edition.

The sun doesn't shine on the same dog's butt every day but we sure didn't expect a total eclipse.
-- Steve Sloan

For 'Canes fans everywhere, the bitter taste of yesterday's game is lingering like undercooked liver and brussel sprouts. For those who were lucky enough to miss it, the game went sort of something like this.

No matter where you were yesterday, if you listened closely enough you could hear the anguished screams of UM fans imploring the defense to watch for the QB draw!!! But enough of that. Today let's dig through the ashes of yesterday's disaster for some semblance of a positive spin.

Here we go:

1) Eddie Johnson is a MAN!!! He was all over the field and many of his 7 tackles were DJ Williams-like.

2) Clive Wafford could be the answer at TE. 3 catches for 61 y

ards and TD is something to build off of for a guy who reminds me some of Packers TE Jermichael Finley.

3) Duke Johnson is guaranteed to return at least one kickoff for TD this year. He came close again yesterday.

Ok so maybe I'm rationalizing a crushing loss. But this is a very young team that can only get better.

"The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win."

~ Roger Bannister

No doubt Al Golden is reminding that to those young players today!!

Hang in there 'Canes Fans!!!
