The 'Canes flight touched down at FTL airport just after noon and just a short time later Julian Gamble, Kenny Kadji and Coach Larranaga were ushered to the podium deep in the bowels of the Bank United Center.

First up was Julian Gamble. Since the injury to Reggie Johnson, Gamble has logged big minutes (27.6) over the last 6 games ('Canes are 4-2 over that stretch; 2-0 in ACC play). Over that period, Gamble has averaged 9.6 PPG, 7.6 RPG, and 2 blocks per contest. Big numbers for the super senior. Julian talked about the big win, team effort and 2nd half adjustments.

Kenny Kadji spoke next. Kadji has also stepped his game up in Reggie's absence. Kadji is also always gold for a sound byte. He remarked that he was surprised the 'Canes didn't beat UNC by 20. Coach Larranaga was up next for the suddenly expanded press pool (notice the Channel 7 mic). There were a lot of questions about Kenny Kadji and Coach discussed Kadji's evolution as a player since he took the 'Canes head coaching job just over a season ago. Coach also talked about 2nd half adjustments, Julian Gamble, and the upcoming game against Alex Len and Maryland. We need every able body to get to the BUC on Sunday, 1/13/2013 @8PM. Maryland is a tough team and the 'Canes could definitely use their 6th man.
