Former Miami Running Back Danny Dillard Enrolls at Bethune-Cookman

Dorseyitis

On December 14th Dillard announced his enrollment at Bethune-Cookman University and will hope to make an impact at the start of the 2014 season.

After verbally committing to the University of Miami in 2011 as a three star prospect (rivals/scout) and an obvious recruiting project, Venice High graduate Danny Dillard has found new life at Bethune-Cookman University. Once arriving on Miami's campus in 2012, Dillard had redshirted his freshman season and it wasn't until spring practices before the 2013 season that he had begun to garner some attention. Shortly after, UM and Dillard would soon part ways in what seemed to be a mutual separation.

Dillard joins former teammates CB Thomas Finnie, DL Dyron Dye, and WR Jontavious Carter, on a BCU Wildcats squad that recently went 10-3 on the year.

On behalf of everyone at State of the U, we wish only the best to this young man that once donned the ‘orange & green' and look forward to watching him develop.
