Canes win! We all saw the game yesterday, but some of us were lucky to see it live. And some of us were even luckier to hang out before and after the game at Serranos right near the arena.
See what you could have enjoyed?

Margaritas! Patron! Queso! Taquitos!
If you weren't cool enough to come out (or if you were sadly stuck someplace that wasn't Austin,) this was the packed house that greeted Coach L and our boys when you got into the game.

March Madness - Can you feel it?
Look at all the fans! I don't know how we could hear ourselves cheer because it was so loud. I'm amazed that the players could understand Coach L hollering out adjustments and play calls.
But despite the deafening roar of fans, you could still hear the Pacific band playing what I can only assume is their fight song. Listen closely and you may hear Scrooge McDuck singing along in the background.

Their band had another trick up their sleeve. To make sure everyone knew their displeasure with a Miami score, they scoldingly told us "NO" after a made basket.

Their mascot also was one of the most animated and energy filled mascots I've ever seen. Take a look for yourself (fast forward to the 27 second mark if you want to see his unbridled enthusiasm NOW.)

See his fire, his energy, his dancing prowess.

He also used the jaunty move of walking around, twirling his tail, just like the picture at the top of the post. His go-to move. The one he uses when he wants you to know he's about to kick some tail. (Get it: tail. He twirls his tail. I have a million of these.)
In all seriousness, Pacific made it to the biggest stage of college basketball and what more can you ask for? They tried their best but it just wasn't enough yesterday. The same goes for their basketball team.
(This is all tongue-in-cheek Pacific fans because, if you can't joke about those you love, who can you joke about? [Maybe Gator fans. They deserve it.] But you deserve congratulations on winning your conference title and making the dance. I'm sorry you had meet the Miami juggernaut in your first game.)
