The University of Miami men’s basketball team will receive its 2013 ACC Championship rings Saturday during the Miami vs. Florida football game.

After the first quarter, the team - including coaches and members of the 2012-13 squad - will be on the field for the ring presentation.

Last season the Miami Hurricanes won both the ACC Regular Season and Tournament championships and played in the NCAA Sweet 16. The Canes won 15 ACC games and tallied a program-best 29 victories, while posting a 14-game winning streak along the way. During the season, The U defeated No. 1 Duke by 27 points in front of a packed BankUnited Center crowd, and was subsequently ranked No. 2 in the nation.

Coach Jim Larrañaga was tabbed the national and ACC Coach of the Year while Shane Larkin was tabbed ACC Player of the Year and Durand Scott was the league’s Defensive Player of the Year. In all, five players earned conference recognition for the championship team and six seniors on the 2013 team earned their academic degree from UM.

Congrats again to the Hoopsters!!!
