After a quiet few weeks on the recruiting trail, the silence was broken when, seemingly out of nowhere, the Bat Signal hit everyone's twitter timeline

Of course, the speculation after such a tweet is always "WHO WAS IT?!?!!" We didn't have to wait long for the answer.
Dwayne Lawson commits to Miami. #Canes

Miami's newest commit is 6-5, 230-pounds and runs a 4.7. He plays QB. #Canes

The newest commit is QB Dwayne Lawson from Tampa. Check out his highlights:

Rapid reactions? Got 'em.

Boom!!!

More analysis of Lawson's game and how this might impact our roster moving forward? Got that too
@TheStateOfTheU @PeterAriz Interesting pickup. Can't criticize it given the QB situation East of Mississippi this year. He is super raw.

@TheStateOfTheU @PeterAriz I also wouldn't rule out a move to another position in college.

@SBNRecruiting @TheStateOfTheU If Kaaya pans out, I like the take as a project

I saw Lawson at Miami camp last year. The size, athletic ability and arm talent is all there. Can be special with proper development #canes

A good get and a player who presumably fills our class at this position for this class, Lawson passed for 2120 yards and 22 TDs in 2013, while also running for 1068 yards. Staff doing work again.
LATE EDIT: Al Golden seems pleased
