Miami has landed San Jose State transfer Rashad Muhammad, his brother Shabazz told ESPN.

Muhammad is the brother of ex-UCLA and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Shabazz Muhammad.
He averaged 13.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season, though his shooting could stand to improve (38% from the field) and he played on an awful squad.
The 6'6 Muhammad will have to sit out 2015-16, but will have 2 years remaining when he is eligible. By that point UM will have lost Sheldon McClellan and Davon Reed will be a senior. So his presence on the wing could be a major factor. He definitely has the skills to be an excellent player, and he should only improve under Coach L and staff.
