The Hurricanes have taken college basketball and it's voters by storm and on Monday afternoon the 'Canes have cracked the top-5

The Miami Hurricanes are finally getting the respect they deserve with their outstanding play as of late.

The 'Canes are the only team of the power six conferences that is undefeated in conference play at 10-0. Couple that with huge wins against Duke and at NC State and you have the third best team in the country.

The weekly AP poll was released Monday afternoon and the 'Canes were voted in at #3. Only behind Indiana, who retained it's #1 spot with a convincing win at Ohio State and behind a Duke team that the Hurricanes dismantled three weeks ago in Coral Gables.

The 'Canes received 17 first place votes, most in school history during the process and were only 58 total points behind Indiana for the number one spot and 16 points behind Duke for number two.

You finally have a top-five team, 'Canes fans. Now let's sit back and enjoy what has been a remarkable season.
