So, out of nowhere tonight (at least to me), the AP's Tim Reynolds started casually dropping hints on Twitter that Kirby Hocutt is seriously considering taking the (apparently) open athletic director position at Texas Tech. This seemed to be borne out of discussion regarding Frank Haith's job security, but it's going to grow into something much larger than that now. More Reynolds tweets after the jump:
