Did Canes Hoops Land a Prized 2014 Commit?

This 2014 big man was in attendance at Miami's blowout win against number 1 Duke on Wednesday, find out if he pulled the trigger and committed to the Canes

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

We have learned that class of 2014 forward Malik Price-Martin may have committed to the University of Miami basketball team this evening. The 6'9" 4 star talent from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, FL was in attendance and rushed the court with UM students at Wednesday's stunning blowout of then #1 Duke.

Martin had offers from top schools like Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Syracuse and cut his list this week to only the 5 Florida schools (Miami, UF, FSU, USF, UCF). He said then "I know for sure that I want to stay in Florida.."

Then Martin tweeted right after

UPDATE: Since last night we spoke briefly with Price-Martin's AAU Coach Kenny Gillion who when we asked if Malik had committed to the U, Gillion responded Malik's father said "no."

We will keep you posted as we learn more.
