Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas OL and Cane commitment OL Nick Linder was in the recruiting section for Miami's win over conference rival Georgia Tech.

"Though it was awesome to see the team stay together after Georgia Tech's early lead," Linder said.

The Hurricanes are 5-0 for the first time since 2004, when they opened the season with six straight victories. Not only are the ‘Canes undefeated so far this season, they have won their last seven games dating back to last season. Recruits have taken notice of Miami's superb start of the season, and this will only strengthen Miami's recruiting abilities.

"This is exactly how I pictured it," Linder said. "They're a great team and they're going to do a lot of huge things this year."

There were a significant amount of recruits at the game, and according Linder, they all seemed to be having a great time.

"Yeah, it was awesome," Linder said. "Other recruits seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was with Ryan Crozier and Kc McDermott."
