@MiamiHurricanes to Host Five Open Bowl Practices

Fans encouraged to watch Canes’ first five bowl practices

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes football team will open its first five bowl practices to the public. Miami (9-3, 5-3 ACC) will begin bowl preparations this weekend as the Hurricanes gear up for its first bowl game since 2010.

Miami’s first two bowl practices will be Saturday (1-2:45 p.m.) and Sunday (3-5 p.m.). The Canes’ final three open bowl practices will be Fri., Dec. 13 (5-7 p.m.); Sat., Dec. 14 (1-2:45 p.m.); and Sun., Dec. 15 (1-2:45 p.m.). All five practices will be held at Cobb Stadium adjacent to the GreenTree Practice Fields.

For practices Dec. 7-8 and 14-15, fans can park in any of the green, gray and yellow lots near the Hecht Athletic Center and Cobb Stadium. For the Fri., Dec. 13, practice, fans can park in the Ponce Garage. Those attending the open practices must enter Cobb Stadium through the entrance along San Amaro Drive.

Miami finished the regular season with nine wins – the most by a Hurricanes team since 2009. The Canes will find out their postseason destination later this week.
