BREAKING: 2014 Central RB Joseph Yearby just committed to the Miami Hurricanes.
— SFHS Sports (@SFHSSports) February 26, 2013
That tweet says it all. The 2014 recruiting process has already gotten underway in a pretty big way for the Canes, but this news is big. Joseph Yearby has been a long time Florida State commit, but has been rumored to have been wavering since James Coley himself flipped to Miami.
The connection between the two coaches appears to have been too much for FSU to overcome, at least for now.
Take a look at Yearby's sophomore highlights:

Also, here's a breakdown of Yearby by our own SB Nation Recruiting:
The first thing that jumps out about Yearby is his body control. He is able to make excellent cuts off of either leg, which is difficult to do. He accomplishes this by having great balance and a low center of gravity. With that low center of gravity, body control and balance, Yearby is able to make cuts at full speed, leaving defenders grasping at air.
