'Canes Take ACC Crown; Senior Day Festivities

Senior Day was a BIG success for the Miami Hurricanes basketball team. Needing a win over Clemson to clinch their first ACC regular season title, the 'Canes came out and took care of business.

Just one year ago today, Jerry and I were in Atlanta watching a talented FSU team go MMA on the 'Canes and knock them out of the ACC. That loss also dashed any hopes Miami had of punching a ticket to the Big Dance. Durand Scott was suspended just before that game.

What a difference a year makes!

The 'Canes worked hard to control their own destiny this year - but the day was also about honoring the seniors.

Before the win over Clemson, Miami honored Reggie Johnson, Kenny Kadji, Julian Gamble, Trey McKinney Jones and Kenny Kadji. There's some video of the ceremony below!

While the pre-game ceremony was great - the post-game festivities were on another level. First up is the immediate celebration after the final buzzer and the net-cutting ceremony.
