Arkansas lean, Arkansas commit, however you choose to label Demetrius Jackson, you're currently wrong. The correct label would be "Miami Hurricane."

While he hasn't technically played football yet, Jackson looked phenomenal in Booker T's spring game according to reports:

His apparent abilities landed him a ton of interest from former Miami player and coach Randy Shannon, and by proxy of course, Arkansas head coach Bret "Bert" Bielema. Jackson was widely considered to be a strong lean to Arky, with some even saying he had committed last week. However, once Miami came calling with an offer yesterday, his focus quickly changed from moving west, to staying home.

There aren't many highlights of the kid football-wise, since he has until now spent his time playing hoops. However, his spring game appearance netted him a ton of offers and interest. He stands 6'5", weighs in at 220 pounds, and reportedly has a 36 inch vertical. This kid is a great pickup for Miami, and while he isn't currently rated on any sites, he will be. Soon.

WELCOME TO THE U, DEMETRIUS!
