Golden's Football Camp Pays Dividends, Canes Land LB Juwon Young From Albany, GA

Line backer is a position of need for the Canes, and the 2014 class just got a good one out of Georgia in Juwon Young. Young attended Al Golden's football camp this weekend, and decided to commit.

These camps that Golden and his staff put on sure do seem to be a great thing, don't they? Just ask Albany, GA line backer Juwon Young, who attended this weekend's camp and decided that it was his time to commit.

Young is a 6 foot 2, 228 pound (!!!) beast of a line backer. In his last two year of high school, he has tallied 176 tackles, including 13 sacks. He covers the field well, and runs a 4.6 forty. While that won't exactly set the turf on fire, it does allow him to be pretty rangy from his outside spot, which is exactly what Miami needs.

He got his Miami offer on May 3rd, was invited to this weekend's camp, and then pulled the trigger afterwards. He is definitely a welcome addition to the defensive side of this class. He is listed as a 4 star line backer by 247Sports, and a 3 star on the consensus boards.

WELCOME TO THE U, JUWON!
