Sheldon McClellan has impressed early with his scoring, defense, and generally unselfishness on the court.
The Texas transfer has also become a regular with ACC "Must See Moments" for his highlight reel finishes.
Today he added ACC Player of the Week for 11/23-11/30 to his list of early accomplishments.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami junior guard Sheldon McClellan has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Dec. 1.
McClellan hit 73.9 percent (17-of-23) from the field, 75 percent (6-of-8) from 3-point range and 100 percent (8-of-8) from the foul line in two Miami wins this week. The Houston native averaged 24.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.5 minutes per game. On the 10th day of an 11-day road trip, McClellan notched a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 11-of-17 (64.7 percent) from the field and 5-of-7 (.714) from beyond the arc in Miami’s 77-74 win at Charlotte. In an 87-75 win over South Alabama, McClellan scored 17 points on a perfect 6-of-6 performance from the field.
McClellan’s award comes on the heels of teammate Angel Rodriguez earning the same honor last week.
