Miami Head Coach Al Golden was available to the media yesterday. He talked about the development of young players this week, with the veterans having the week off.

On "The U, Part II"

"Everyone is going to watch it."

Some good reflection on some of the trials and tribulations he was a part of that the movie covered.

He also talked about Deon Bush,  who said he is definitely coming back for his senior season.

Similarly to Brad Kaaya when he addressed the media earlier in the week,  Chad Thomas said he is now ready to take on more of a leadership role.  Thomas also said the team has been working during their "time off" with strength and conditioning coach Andreu Swasey.   He also said his weight is right around 255.  Did he plan on watching "The U, Part II"?

"If I'm awake."

Freshman WR Braxton Berrios was also excited about heading to Shreveport, though he says he doesn't know much about the city.   Also a funny joke at the expense of former Miami OG Jared Wheeler.

Shane McDermott was a little more serious.  He thinks the 'Canes will be very good next year, particularly because of the depth at RB and OL.   He also touched on any advice he has given his younger brother, OT Kc McDermott.
