Videos: Al Golden, Brad Kaaya, Standish Dobard, Courtel Jenkins, Joe Yearby Address Media

'Canes continue to prepare for South Carolina.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

First up Al Golden talks preparations for South Carolina, the tempo of practice, Hunter Knighton's progress, Ryan Williams' disappointment and more.

Particularly interesting was the topic of the development of  DE/OLB Chad Thomas, whom Golden sounded excited about,

"Chad's got to continue to learn and grow and lead.... He has good leadership qualities.  He's got a long way to go in his development, but he's willing."

Next up we have QB Brad Kaaya, who says the experience of the bowl game should help the team, but that winning was very important for the program.

On if the game means a lot for next season,

"In some ways (this is the start of 2015) but it is also important we win for the last year guys."

Kaaya also talks about his chemistry with TE Standish Dobard.

Dobard also talked to the media.

The big TE is from Louisiana but knows very little of the show "Duck Dynasty."

As for playing an SEC team,

"Everybody says the SEC is the best conference, so every chance we get to play an SEC team we will take it."

Dobard also credited Clive Walford for his development, and admitted he shadowed Walford a lot during the season, particularly "route running and blocking."

On the defense, freshman DT Courtel Jenkins was also available, who took more silly Duck Dynasty questions, but also talked about some of the other young guys on D.

Finally we have Joe Yearby, who spoke briefly and "ducked" the questions about DD, but did talk about his team's preparations.
