Hurricanes announce Spring Practice dates

The push towards the 2014 season begins now, as the University of Miami has announced the dates and locations for Spring Practice

Spring Game will be April 12 at Sun Life Stadium

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – For 15 days during the months of March and April, Miami Hurricanes football will return to Greentree for spring practice. Fourth-year head coach Al Golden announced his team’s spring schedule Monday.

The Canes will begin their spring schedule with a closed practice March 1 (9 a.m.). Miami will practice four times before Spring Break and a total of nine times before its first spring scrimmage March 29 (12 p.m.) at Greentree. The Hurricanes’ second scrimmages will 6 p.m. on April 4 at Cobb Stadium.

Miami’s spring schedule will culminate April 12 with its annual Spring Game (6 p.m.) at Sun Life Stadium.

Miami will also host the South Florida Football Festival, a clinic for high school and youth coaches, on March 28-29.

With the exception of the three scrimmages, all practices are closed to the public.
