Speaking of violations, this is a gross violation of the NaeNae clause: to compete physically or mentally by performing the NaeNae one must first dethrone a legitimate opponent in a tournament like setting.

Dave Clawson clearly ignored those guidelines and now there's 2 minutes of Demon Deacons gyrating around with no purpose at all. And that is certainly not what the NaeNae is all about.

Virginia Tech went 0-17 on third down in their Spring Game.

Ahem...

Now, we've had our own difficulties on 3rd down in recent years and Miami's Spring Game could've seen a more effective offense, but 0-17? That's a bit more than disheartening.

You could make the case that Virginia Tech has arguably one of the better defenses in the league, and that was certainly the case last season. Unfortunately, nothing makes this an easier pill to swallow for Hokies fans counting down the days until kickoff.
