In the wake of all the Brad Kaaya announcement euphoria, the 'Canes may be getting some bad news.
Matt Porter of the Sun Sentinel is reporting that TE Beau Sandland is leaving the program. The school has yet to confirm.

Al Golden said he wouldn't address @mattyports report TE Beau Sandland is transferring. "Soon as I talk with Beau I'll address that." #UM

Porter is as reliable as there gets on the 'Cane beat. We can understand Golden's apprehension to comment if he truly hasn't had a chance to talk yet with Sandland.
With Clive Walford and Standish Dobard ahead of him, one can understand the 6'6 260 pound JUCO transfer's desire to seek PT elsewhere, if true.
Sandland came to Miami last season as the #1 rated JUCO TE by most recruiting services.
We certainly wish him well if he indeed leaves.
More on this development as we learn it.
Update: This evening Coach Golden confirmed it to the media. No official release yet, but this about sums it up.
Al Golden just said on Hurricane Hotline he was disappointed TE Beau Sandland was leaving the #Canes. Wouldn't initially confirm my report.
