When news came out the OL Bar Milo (Chaminade HS, West Hills, CA) was making the cross-country trek to attend Miami's U-Day recruiting event on August 10th, many people speculated that a commitment might be imminent. Unfortunately, those predictions off slightly. But, there were a couple of tweets from that weekend that could only be taken as foreshadowing.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Out here with <a href="https://twitter.com/Milo79Bar">@Milo79Bar</a> <a href="http://t.co/MntLEbZotD">pic.twitter.com/MntLEbZotD</a></p>— Brad Kaaya (@TrinidadBrad) <a href="https://twitter.com/TrinidadBrad/statuses/498571086511230977">August 10, 2014</a></blockquote>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Back home, Miami was amazing, I see why <a href="https://twitter.com/TrinidadBrad">@TrinidadBrad</a> chose it. I'll be remembering this visit when deciding on which hat to pick. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/theU?src=hash">#theU</a></p>— Bar Milo (@Milo79Bar) <a href="https://twitter.com/Milo79Bar/statuses/498925514669576192">August 11, 2014</a></blockquote>

Then, just before his decision date, Milo teased recruiting fans with this tweet:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Big commitment is tomorrow. Who will it be? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ASU?src=hash">#ASU</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Miami?src=hash">#Miami</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Nebraska?src=hash">#Nebraska</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Washington?src=hash">#Washington</a></p>— Bar Milo (@Milo79Bar) <a href="https://twitter.com/Milo79Bar/statuses/504443194721857537">August 27, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
But, in the end, the 2 week delay didn't change what many had previously predicted, as Milo committed to the U on Wednesday night.

As i'm sure you may have heard, Milo played with current Miami QB Brad Kaaya last year. The connection between Milo and Kaaya, who was recently named Miami's starting QB, is one of the main factors that contributed to this commitment.
Also contributing is the sense of camaraderie between Milo and another commit: Hayden Mahoney. Earlier this week, InsideTheU.com reported that it was, in fact, Mahoney's family that paid for Milo's trip to U-Day ($).
The 6-6, 315lb Milo was a 1st team All-State junior and State Champion last year, and looks to add many other accolades to his already impressive collection this upcoming season.
Milo joins an large group of Offensive Line commits, as the Canes have already secured commitments from G Leeward Brown, G Geron Christian, T Tyler Gauther, T Brendan Loftus T Hayden Mahoney, and T Tyree St. Louis. Of this group of commits, I would put Milo as the 2nd most talented, only behind St. Louis.
Overall, this is a good get for Miami, and immediately upgrades the level of talent among this group of commits.
You can see his highlights below:
And, of course, we can't end without saying...
