Yesterday our very own Mike Seay (Dorseyitis) and Ale Narciso gave us outstanding updates, videos, and images on the first day of fall practice.
Miami returns to the Greentree at 2:20 p.m EST Today.
Here are some key things to watch and look for updates on:
Obviously the QB battle. Here's a nice summary from Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post on how the QBs performed on Day 1.
Also: Jake Heaps certainly has the aspect of dealing with the media down pat. Very smooth and well spoken.
The highly anticipated debut of Trayone Gray will take place today. And while it will be nice to see him on the field, remember folks, he is just a freshman.
Miami FB Walter Tucker was working with the LBs yesterday. We'll have to keep an eye out to see if that was just an experiment, or going to be a permanent fixture. Something tells us Gray ends up at RB and Tucker adds much needed depth to the LB corps
Looks like Walter Tucker is wearing No. 4 and working with the LBs. Was a FB last year. Came in as a LB.

Among the more interesting battles this fall is the RT position. On day 1 true freshman KC McDermott got the nod. But do not count out Taylor Gadbois just yet.

And these are just a few of the story lines to keep an eye on.
