The saga that has been on all Miami Hurricanes fans minds for the better part of two weeks, appears to be over....for now.
The AP has reported that Al-Quadin Muhammad will be suspended for the entire season.
Here's the APNewsBreak on Muhammad. http://t.co/8QsopyvUEp

As I've hinted at in The Work, football people at UM are very, very displeased at the school's handling of the Al-Quadin Muhammad situation

UM announces that Al Quadin Muhammad is not enrolled for fall semester and will not be participating in athletics this fall.

As alluded to above, we have nothing official from UM yet in terms of the suspension. In the past few weeks, Al Golden has stated that the issue went beyond athletics and he was limited in what he could say.
If and when we learn the official story, we promise to provide much more coverage on the situation.
This is a huge loss for the 'Canes improved defense, as AQM was expected to be a force this season as a pass rusher. Look for true freshman Chad Thomas to get more reps as a result.
