Well, we all sort of knew this day was coming.
Former 4 star S recruit Kiy Hester, who was a freshman at UM, has been granted his release per Head Football Coach Al Golden.
Best of luck to him. Seeya. RT @Ale_Narciso1: According to Al Golden, Kiy Hester has been released @TheStateOfTheU

There were many speculating for weeks that Hester was homesick, and also rumors circulating that wanted to transfer back to NJ to be with his sick mom (see above).
Either way we wish him well. Family always has to come first.
Too bad for UM though, the young man has great balls skills, ideal size, and in his high school highlights often appears to be teleporting across the field to make hits. Loads of potential.
Best wishes to Kiy and his family from all of us at SOTU.
