Just a couple quick morning updates for you guys

Mohamed Barry announcing college destination today

A talented player from Georgia powerhouse Loganville Grayson (that's where Robert Nkemdiche went to HS), OLB Mohamed Barry will be announcing his collegiate destination later today.

The general thought is that Barry's decision is coming down to Nebraska and Miami. We'll have to see what the decision is later this afternoon.

Evan Shirreffs waiting on The U

Another Georgia prospect, QB Evan Shirreffs is being slow played by Miami...and this is totally understandable. Miami has seemingly jumped back into the conversation withe U.S. All-American ATH Torrance Gibson, who will only consider being offered/recruited as a QB.

With offers from Colombia and VMI, Shirreffs' recruitment hasn't been as heavily contested as maybe he would like. And, with that being the case, he's content to wait on Miami, even until after NSD.

Shirreffs is a viable candidate for the QB in this class, and he's a very good plan b option should Gibson decide to head elsewhere.

Arden Key drops Miami

In a shock to noone, 4-star DE Arden Key's decision will not include Miami.

Could he re-commit to South Carolina FOR A THIRD TIME? Probably.

Cager is one step closer to signing

With each passing Day, WR Lawrence Cager endears himself more and more to Canes fans. Yesterday, a simple tweet set them into a frenzy.

Can't wait for those papers to have his signature on them and be received in the Hecht Athletic Center on Wednesday morning.

Surprise visit: WR Brandon Martin

According to a report on CaneSport.com ($), 3-star WR Brandon Martin will be visiting Coral Gables today.

Martin, who hails from Dallas and attends Prime Prep Academy, Deion Sanders' embattled school, is a Missouri commit. At 6'5" 200lbs, Martin is a big and physical WR who would be a positive addition to any recruiting class.

It's too early to tell if this visit means anything, but that story will be told over the next few days. Martin's HUDL highlights are below.

That's it for the update.

More will follow as we progress towards National Signing Day.
