CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes released its 2015 football schedule in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday.
Miami’s 2015 campaign will be highlighted with six home games in the newly renovated Sun Life Stadium. In addition, the schedule also will feature a challenging non-conference slate and six road games.
In total, nine of Miami's 12 opponents in 2015 played in a bowl game this past season.
Miami’s non-conference opponents at home include Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 5) and Nebraska (Sept. 19). The Hurricanes will host ACC rivals Virginia Tech (Oct. 17), Clemson (Oct. 24), Virginia (Nov. 7) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 21).
The Canes will have six road games in 2015 – FAU (Sept. 12), Cincinnati (Oct. 1), Florida State (Oct. 10), Duke (Oct. 31), North Carolina (Nov. 14) and Pitt. Miami’s game at Cincinnati will beon Thursday, while its game against the Pittsburgh will be on Friday.
Miami closed out the 2014 season in the Duck Commander Independance Bowl, falling short to South Carolina by a 24-21 count. Miami's bowl appearance marked the second-consecutive year in which it had ended the year in a bowl game.
In home games last season, Miami posted a 5-2 mark. Over their last 16 home games, the Hurricanes own a 13-3 mark.
