Knowles is a very talented and physical player at 6'1" 185lbs. He picked up an offer yesterday after Tim Irvin committed to Texas and is the 2nd Safety in the 2015 class.
A player of Knowles talent should have been more highly recruited than he was until recently. But, there's an understandable reason for his low recruiting profile: he had grade problems. According to an interview with insidetheu.com ($), Knowles has raised his GPA from 2.1 to 2.9 over the last year. Much like Trayone Gray last year, keep an eye on Knowles' qualifying status.
Knowles has said in recent interviews that Miami is his "dream school". Paired with All-American S Jaquan Johnson in this class, the Safety position just got a huge boost with this commitment. Miami now has 20 commitments int he 2015 recruiting class.
