The Miami Hurricanes have reportedly added some depth to the most important position on the field, and the name is a familiar one.

Testaverde was a walk on at Texas Tech.
In other words, he will not be competing for Brad Kaaya's job.
Chances are he will have his hands full beating out Malik Rosier on the depth chart.
But you can never have too many solid signal callers on your roster, if for no other reason to run your scout team (underrated).
Of course given who Testaverde's father is, and with the recent loss of a back up corner (Ray Lewis III) and a recruit (Tim Irvin) with famous blood lines, this move almost feel like cosmic justice (if you believe in such things).
