Tweetcap: Al Golden on the Joe Rose Show 10/5

Al Golden joined the Joe Rose Show for his weekly appearance. He spoke about the loss to Cincinnati, 3rd down issues, OL and Safety rotations, and more.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Well, hello there. It's another Monday morning, so Al Golden went on with Joe Rose to talk Canes. This time was after a loss for the first time this year. And, it's also before the biggest game of the year: Florida State. Here's the conversation.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here we go</p>&mdash; StateOfTheU.com (@TheStateOfTheU) <a href="https://twitter.com/TheStateOfTheU/status/650982061961007104">October 5, 2015</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Joe Rose asked how things are going. Response:

Q: What were the most frustrating parts of last week's loss to Cincinnati?

Clipping. Holding. Punt return TD negated by holding. And...and...and....

Ah. The ever-present Golden-ism: "it's on me."

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Golden also mentioned the inability to convert in short yardage situations. Interview was moving too fast for me to get a tweet in right then, tho. So, it's not like he ignored that part. Which, I mean, is good that he noticed?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">JOE ROSE ASKING ABOUT GOLDEN&#39;S COMMENTS ABOUT POOR SAFETY PLAY!!!!
