Miami Basketball Returns to Action Vs Lousiana Open Thread/How to Watch

Hurricanes Hoops looks to go 2 for 2 tonight Vs The Ragin' Cajuns Of Louisiana College( formerly Lafayette)  at 7 PM (game can be seen on ESPN3).

LC is led by 6'9 senior Shawn Long, a projected NBA 1st rounder, and are the favorites to win the Sun Belt Conference.

This will be no easy task for the 'Canes.

UM will again be with out PF Kamari Murphy, suspended the 1st three games for a violation of team rules.

Miami rolled to an easy victory on Friday, 86-59 over Texas Rio Grande Valley with out Murphy.

Sheldon McClellan led the Hurricanes with 18 points.  Dramatically improved PF Ivan Cruz Uceda added 16.

Miami plays its second-straight game at home on Monday, Nov. 16, facing Louisiana (formerly Louisiana-Lafayette) at 7 p.m. in the BankUnited Center.  The Game can be seen on ESPN3

This is the second meeting between Miami and Louisiana. The first matchup was Dec. 20, 1999, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a game Louisiana won, 66-60.

Head coach Jim Larrañaga has a 562-383 overall record in his 32nd season as a head coach. He is 92-49 in his fifth season at the University of Miami, with a 41-29 mark in ACC play.

Projected temperatures on game day: Coral Gables - 82/75; Lafayette, La. - 76/70.
