Welcome to the U Bruce Brown: Miami Basketball Picks Up Talented 4 Star Guard

Coach L and the 'Canes just got a major piece for the 2016 class. There may be more big news on the way.

In what could be the most electrifying day in the history of Miami Basketball recruiting, UM got off to spectacular start with the announcement that 4 star G Bruce Brown is taking his talents to Coral Gables.

The 6'4 200 pound class of 2016 Brown is a consensus top 40 player across the board.

He chose UM over Indiana.  He was previously recruited by schools like Arizona, Arizona State, and Auburn among many others. .

This is a major get for the Hurricanes.

Brown is already physically strong enough and quick enough for the D1 game.

He has a reputation as a terrific defender, can shoot, finish out in space, create for teammates, and especially drive the ball to the hoop.

He should fit in just fine in Coach Jim Larranaga's system.

UM now sits back and waits to see if 5 star PF Dewan Huell will join Brown in what could be a monster class for the 'Canes.  Miami previously signed 4 star C Rodney Miller to the Class of 16'.
