Miami Hurricanes Basketball Returns to Action Today Vs Mississippi State in Puerto Rico Tip-Off

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday was certainly a memorable one for Hurricanes Hoops on the court.

Today they resume the process of making memories on the court, as they kick off the Puerto RIco Tip-Off at 5 PM (ESPN2) EST Vs Mississippi State (1-1).

In the early going, UM has had a very balanced attack.

Sheldon McClellan and Davon Reed have led them in scoring the first 2 contests, but PG's Ja'Quan Newton and Angel Rodriguez, and PF Ivan Cruz Uceda among others have made steady contributions.

The Bulldogs are led by 6'9 senior F Gavin Ware, who is averaging 19.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg early on, and 5'11 junior G I.J Ready who is putting up 17 ppg and 5.5 apg.

UM will be right back in action in the 2nd round of the Tip-Off tomorrow (TBA).

Enjoy the game.
