After invoking the 6-day hold to announce the game time for Miami at North Carolina, the ACC provided the pertinent information.
ANNOUNCEMENT: @CanesFootball @ North Carolina next Saturday will be broadcast at 3:30pm ET on ESPNU
— Canes Football (@CanesFootball) November 8, 2015
This game is a huge factor in the ACC Coastal race. The Canes sit at 4-2 in conference, but undefeated in the Coastal. North Carolina is undefeated in the conference and in the division. Their lone loss was a season-opening 17-13 loss to rival South Carolina back when Steve Spurrier still coached.
For North Carolina, their path to the Coastal is clear: win twice OR win once and Pitt loses once.
For Miami, their path is much more complicated. In addition to needing to win the last 3 games at North Carolina, vs Georgia Tech, and at Pittsburgh, The Canes would need North Carolina to lose ANOTHER GAME, either at Virginia Tech or at North Carolina State.
All things are possible, but what is a possibility today will become a reality next Saturday.
So set your watch and your DVR for this one. It's going to be a good one.
