Per reports from Susan Miller Degnan of the Miami Herald, Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post and Christy Cabrera-Chirinos of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, starting Offensive Lineman Sunny Odgowu will miss the Sun Bowl.

So, the offensive line, which has openly struggled throughout the 2015 season, loses a starting player for the Sun Bowl. In Odogwu's stead, look for sophomore Kc McDermott to start at Right Tackle. McDermott, who was a 5-star recruit in 2014, has the talent to be a good player at Tackle. However, he's struggled with technique and consistency in his time at Miami.
Tough blow for Odogwu, who had improved some over the course of the year, and the Hurricanes team.
