This was not fully expected, but I'd mentioned it as a possibility many times, including today's recruiting update that I'd had written last night. There were also rumors that Scarlett had decommitted from Miami for more than a week. Those were proven to be true.
Miami, who once had 4 RBs committed in this class, now has but one: Booker T. Washington star Mark Walton.
As Scarlett was the top rated player in our 2015 recruiting class, this can only be classified as a major loss. The loss would be mitigated if West Orange RB Dexter Williams rejoined the class. We'll see if Miami can rebuild that relationship quickly.
More on this as the situation develops.
