Told you.
Rashad Fenton scoffs at your late offer, Miami
A product of local Carol City High School, CB Rashad Fenton is a fan favorite who had received plenty of grassroots support to receive a scholarship offer. That offer only came from the Hurricanes last week, much to many Canes fans' dismay. And, that late offer, while initially compelling to Fenton, proved to be too late.
It's down to UF, Louisville and South Carolina for Carol City DB Rashad Fenton. Says he is still undecided.

Notice the absence of Miami from that list. Sometimes, late isn't better than never. This would be one of those cases.
Will Marcus Lewis give the Canes good news?
With a commitment to Miami at his announcement later today, Under Armour All-American CB Marcus Lewis (Washington, D.C.) could give the Hurricanes their first positive recruiting news of the last week.
The talented Lewis, whose finalists are Kentucky and Miami, would be a huge get for a team that's looking for playmakers in the secondary.
Lewis will announce his decision later today. Here's hoping he throws up the U so he can use this NLI he tweeted a pic of last week

Late night edit
So....I saw this late on Monday night
UK's top remaining target, Marcus Lewis a 4 Star DB, now putting off his decision until Wed night after Fla State and Texas express interest
— Matt Jones (@KySportsRadio) February 3, 2015
This is problematic on so many levels. If Lewis has put off his announcement after Texas and FSU have shown super late interest, you can't help but think that something's afoot. This is not what Miami was hoping for.
Ole Miss out of the running for Kevin Scott?
Hot on the trail in pursuit of 3-star DT Kevin Scott, Ole Miss just gained a commitment from another DT in this class.
I'd like to thank all the schools that showed interest in me it was tough making my decision but iv decided to take my talent to olé miss!
— Ross Donelly (@Rossino_90) February 3, 2015
Could that potentially mean that Scott has narrowed his decision to USC and Miami? It could.
Or it could mean that Ole Miss is just trying to beef up the interior of their defense, and Scott is still on the board.
We'll find out tomorrow.
I know it's early but...
The top ranked commit in the #Swag16 class, WR Sam Bruce made a simple statement in the aftermath of Jordan Scarlett's flip to UF.

Also, there's a great interview with 2016 LB commit Shaq Quarterman. Plenty of good nuggets for Canes fans on the Jacksonville Oakleaf product.

Scouts weigh in on Canes' 2015 class
Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald posted this piece in which several scouts evaluated Miami's current recruiting class player by player. It's definitely worth a read.
