Adding depth to arguably the most important position on any football team, the Miami Hurricanes got their QB for the 2015 class when Evan Shirreffs (Jefferson, GA) committed on Thursday night.

Shirreffs to The U is now official

Shirreffs fits OC James Coley's mold as a tall QB, standing 6'6" 200lbs. He is incredibly accurate (maybe the most accurate HS QB I've ever seen), and has a live arm. He adds quality depth to the QB position, joining Malik Rosier, Gray Crow, and walk-ons Isaac Hoza and Vincent Testaverde at the position.
A 4.0 student, Shirreffs chose Miami over Columbia and the Virginia Military Institute.
