Former Cane Alex Figueroa Burns Miami Flag on Social Media []_[] Palm Beach Post - In a "what were you thinking" type action former Cane Alex Figueroa burned a Miami Hurricanes Flag and decided to post the video on his social media accounts. It was later removed but the word had gotten out and the damage was done. Figueroa used to play football for the Canes but due to a sexual assault last preseason he was immediately kicked out of the University.

Men's Basketball to Travel to Richmond, Virginia to do Battle with the Spiders []_[] Richmond Times-Dispatch - With Miami beating Alabama last Saturday and Richmond beating Arizona State they now both turn their sights on each other. The Canes are going to have to bring their "A" game as they will be playing the Spiders who, at one point, were 12-13 on the season but went on a torrid win streak to finish the season 21-13. Yea, they've won their last 9 games..

David Thompson Honored as Co-Player of the Week []_[] Miami Hurricanes Official Homepage - For a second straight week Thompson has been honored with the award. Right now there seems to be no one in the country playing better than the Junior. Currently he is leading the nation in RBI's at 39. Last week during the 4 game set he had four home runs, two doubles, a triple and 13 RBI's.

Ladies Golf Team Set To Tee of at Invitation []_[] Miami Hurricanes Official Homepage - And you thought this site was solely dedicated to the big sports, huh? Don't lie, you know you did! The Lady Canes are taking on the field as they look to defend and possibly expand their rankings , currently set at 38th in the country.

Men's Basketball Stuns The Spiders 63-61 []_[] Virginia Pilot - Miami was down at one point 36-18 in the second half but came charging back. Due to a full court press, foul trouble by the Spiders and clutch free throw shooting, the Canes were able to claw their way back and take their first (and only) lead of the game... with 1 minute left. The Canes now enter the home stretch of the NIT as they head to Madison Square Garden to hopefully win the entire tournament later this week.

Highlight Tapes of Potential 2016 Football Recruits []_[] Palm Beach Post - Miami has about 20 or so verbal commits to the class of 2016 but why not look at some other players who could join them? Sure, let's dream for an even better class than what the current staff has already put together.

The Game In Pictures: Miami Versus Richmond []_[] Sun Sentinel - Miami wore their fashionable black uni's with orange and green trim but even though they looked the part on the court they still had to handle their business. Luckily a second half surge by the Canes (or a meltdown by the Spiders) was the difference. Check out the pics to see the tale of the tape.

Baseball Shockingly Losses to FGCU []_[] FGCU Athletics - Miami was riding a nice wave from last week when they took three of four but the upstart Eagles surprised the Canes and thrashed them 8-1. Jim Morris will have to ready the squad as they take on another ACC opponent this weekend in the North Carolina Tar Heels who are historically a power house in baseball.

Thursday the 27th of March
