Baseball Team Moves Up Four Spots to 11 _ NCAA - By sweeping Duke last weekend the Canes have positioned themselves nicely in the ACC as well as early discussions for hosting Regionals in the National Tournament at the end of the year.
Swimming Team Honored with Post Season Awards _ ACC - With the sterling finishes by the dive team in both the one and three meter competitions at nationals a few weeks back it was pretty much a no-brainer that the the Coach of the Year Award for Diving would go to Miami's Randy Ablemen. The Diver of the Year Award went to potential future Olympian Sam Dorman.
2016 Recruiting Class Passed by FSU _ Palm Beach Post - With the addition of a 5 star Cornerback, FSU has now hurdled passed Miami as the 2016 number one recruiting class. There's still a long way to go in the recruiting cycle so we'll see how the heavy weight slugfest churns on and off the field for the newest crop of talent on the gridiron.

Way Too Early Top 25 for Men's College Basketball_ USA Today - With the National Title game wrapping up last night, prognosticators are already looking to next season. With the Canes returning almost their entire squad next season as well as the showing they displayed in the NIT look for them to have lots of preseason attention as a up and coming team.
Women's Track Athlete Shakima Wimbley Sets Records at UM and Gains Honors Nationally _ As Shakima Wimbley sets records at UM as a sophomore so too does she gain notoriety from the ACC. Wimbley, for the second week in a row, was named Player of the Week for her record setting time in the 400 meter dash. With her taking part in multiple relay teams that also placed at meets the last two weeks she's gained notoriety so it's not just individual events she's setting records in too.

The last few seasons have been lean for Canes to be selected by the league but come this weekend when the NFL selection process begins, look for many a Cane to be jumping off the board and onto an NFL roster.

Men's Basketball Team Losses Lecomte and Burnett to Transfer _ State of the U - It's amazing what a few days can do for a program. On Monday it looked like Miami was going to be poised for a long run into March next season with essentially the whole team coming back besides one senior. Now two underclassmen are transferring and McLellan, the star Shooting Guard/Small Forward maybe mulling a jump to the pro's.

Baseball Team Wins Again in Extra Innings 4-3 _ Miami Hurricanes Official Homepage - It took a little bit longer than expected but the Canes pulled out the extra ining magic to down the FAU Owls. The winning hit was a home run from Iskenderian who finished the night 3-4 with two walks as well. Miami is now 25-9 on the season and have the VT Hokies up next.

Wrapping Up the Men's Basketball Season in a Bow _ Sun Sentinel - Certain games didn't go the Canes' way this season but in the end, Coach L and his staff have to take the positives with the negatives and look towards 2016 as a potential breakout year. Yes they are losing at least three players off the squad (one graduating and two transferring) but the future looks bright for the returning players and the coaching staff.
