According to the Richmond Times, Miami has hired Spiders Assistant Coach Jamal Brunt to replace recently departed Michael Huger, who took the Head Coaching job at his alma mater Bowling Green.

Brunt served as assistant to Chris Mooney for 10 years in Richmond.
The Spiders are known as a notoriously difficult team to prepare for with their faster paced Princeton style offense and a difficult match up zone.
How much of that Brunt brings to Coral Gables remains to be seen.
