Baseball Team Moves up two Places to 16th in the Country []_[] NCAA - After beating another top 25 team two out of three the Canes were able to move up two more spots in the poll. The other teams in the top 25 are: Louisville (7), Florida State (8) and Virginia (20).
Women's Golf Team Takes Part in Invitational And Comes Away Winners []_[] Gold Stat Results - This last weekend the Women's Golf Team entered the Web.com Intercollegiate Golfing Tournament and dominated the competition. Of the five entrants for UM 4 finished inside the top 10 and Delfina Acosta won the Tournament overall. No small feat considering 17 schools took part with over 100 participants combined!
Coach Larranaga Enjoying Homecoming at MSG []_[] Sun Sentinel - One of Coach L's first games as a young boy was at the Garden watching his older brother play for St. Johns. He later played a few prime time games there when he laced 'em up for Providence as a collegiate athlete but he has never coached a team in the Mecca of all basketball arena's until now.

Men's Basketball Heading to NIT Championship, Beat Temple 60-57 []_[] State of The U - Miami was down by more than ten early in the first half but stormed back late before halftime. The second half was back and forth as both teams battled to get to the finals. It was Miami's defense on the boards as well as Temple's hellacious shooting from behind the arch that doomed the Owls and allowed the Canes to advance.
Former Cane QB Kevin Olsen Dismissed from FCS Program []_[] Sun Sentinel - Kevin Olsen's tenure at Towson as their potential starting QB heading in to next season concluded before it even got underway. Olsen was dismissed from the team for violation of team rules. The former 3/4 star QB left the Miami program after violating team rules three times and now looks to have done the same at the FCS level.
Who Has the Most to Gain and Lose at Miami's Pro Day Tomorrow []_[] Palm Beach Post - Each player, whether it's Duke Johson, Phillip Dorsett or even Ereck Flowers has lots to show when they take Green Tree Practice Field to show off their talents. Due to the smorgasbord of talent on hand UM was heavily visited by all teams on it's pro-day.

Baseball Team Thumps BCC 11-3 []_[] Hurricane.com (Student Newspaper) - Led by a dominant performance by starting pitcher Danny Garcia the Canes made quick work of BCC 13-3. Garcia finished the night after 5 crisp innings of one run ball. He doled out the pain delivering 8 strikeouts to only one walk. The offense came through with a six run fifth inning and who paced the offense tonight? Zach Collins and (as per usual) David Thompson who combined went 4-8, four runs scored, three runs driven in and one walk.
