The Miami Hurricanes hope to find their groove as they come down the home stretch of the regular season.

With the ACC Tournament just two weeks away and hopes for bigger and better things on the horizon, UM got off to a good start tonight with an absolute destruction of Bethune Cookman, 14-0 in Coral Gables.

The 'Canes jumped all over BC, scoring in each of the first 6 frames to break the game wide open.

Ricky Eusebio led the way in the early going with 2 RBIs, and David Thompson cracked a solo HR in the bottom of the 4th to make it 7-0.

Chris Barr also had three hits and three runs in the first 5 frames.

When Garrett Kennedy poured in a 3 run RBI double, Miami was up 12-0;

The rest was academic.

Derik Beauprez got the start for UM, and tossed 5 no hit/shutout innings to get the win.

Miami resumes play this weekend with a three game series Vs NYIT, staring Friday at 7 PM from the Light.
