Miami Football 2015 Player Profile: Tyre Brady

In an effort to keep even the most hardcore Miami fan up to date on their favorite players, SOTU will be running a Player Profile series. In these posts, our writers will profile players from each position that they think should get more face time. They will recap their previous year, or in some cases, preview what may be to come. That way, when the season get's here, you hopefully will have a new found love for the team on the field.

Tyre Brady

Sophomore - WR - 6'3 204 - Homestead, Fl (South Dade, H.S.)

Saw action in 2 games last year, and did not record a statistic.

Came to UM as a 3 star prospect, who also was recruited by FSU among others.

Definitely appears to be making some strides his second year in the program:

Summary:  Brady is another player I was shocked did not RS last season.  Nevertheless, by all the reports, the big and talented sophomore appears ready to be a factor this season in the passing game. Looking at some of his film in H.S. and highlights from the Spring, he looks a little lanky, but is still big and fast. He definitely has the frame to be a red zone threat. I am not sure if he'll get enough targets to put up huge numbers, given that Braxton Berrios, Stacy Coley, Herb Waters, and Rashawn Scott would appear to be ahead of him on the depth chart. But I could see Brady slowly but surely working his way into the passing game, and catching 10 or 15 passes this year and maybe even score a few TDs.

Stay tuned for more player profiles from SOTU as we count down to kick off.
