Jack Allison is a name that Canes fans should be well acquainted with by now. He is one of the longest tenured commits in the Swag16 class, and unquestionably the QB of the future for Miami. In fact, he's so talented that he scared off previous 2015 Dwayne Lawson, who flipped away from Miami knowing that Allison would be coming 1 year behind him.
Allison has become a household name in recruiting circles, and that's sure to continue as he was named one of 30 QBs who will attend the Elite 11 QB competition at Nike's The Opening in July.
CORRECTION: Allison and the 29 other QBs are competing at the Elite 11 semi-finals in Los Angeles this upcoming weekend. The top players from that event will be selected to participate in Nike's The Opening later this summer.

Allison will be joined by the likes of K.J. Costello, Malik Henry, Jacob Eason, and Shea Patterson, who are all highly touted recruits. The Elite 11 is a 2 day QB specific camp that precedes The Opening. All 30 QBs will also compete at The Opening and man the trigger for the 7 on 7 portion of the event.
This honor only strengthens the case for Allison as one of the top QB recruits in the country. A strong showing during the Elite 11 semi-finals and being named to the finals at The Opening could help his recruiting ranking rise even further.
CONGRATULATIONS, JACK!!
