Late Sunday night, the Miami Hurricanes added to the 2017 recruiting class.

And as for who just committed....

The newest commit is 2017 Miami Central OT Navughn Donaldson. For all the talk that Miami can't recruit kids from Central, Donaldson is yet another player who disproves that notion.

Donaldson is a high 4-star player, ranked 147 in the class of 2017 according to 247Sports. He plays at a premier HS program which produced current Canes OL Trevor Darling and RB Joseph Yearby, both of whom are solidly in the discussion to start at their respective positions this season..

While he's just entering his junior year of HS, Donaldson has great size at 6'5" 300lbs. He showed well starting at LT as a sophomore for Central, and he figures to continue to elevate his skills, and grow into his impressive frame, as he continues through his high school years.

Donaldson will be a heavily recruited player until he signs his LOI, but getting his commitment can only be seen as a positive.  He joins Robert Burns, Bentavious Thompson, Kemore Gamble, Tre McKitty, Tyler Dunning, Waynmon Steed, and Aundre Kearney as commits in the 2017 recruiting class.

You can see Donaldson's highlights below.
